Vegecore was founded by Jessica Yeong, a Malaysian food scientist who spent years developing food at an industrial scale — before realising the gap wasn't in technique, but in taste. Plant-based food had given up on real Malaysian flavour. She set out to change that.
Vegecore is on a mission to bring innovative, sustainable plant-based alternatives to meat — that never ask you to compromise on flavour.
The secret is real, whole-food ingredients: functional mushrooms (Lion's Mane and shiitake) and konjac for the texture and substance of meat, and real chilli at the heart of our sambals.
